All of the knives belong to the Shun Classic line, which features their unique Damascus-look clad metal technology, layers of steel and an ergonomic grip that has made Shun a rapidly growing chef-favorite over the last four years. Because they are made with Shun’s VG-10 super steel, which boasts a higher density and a higher Rockwell Hardness rating, they are sharper out of the box and retain their edge for a longer time period than their European competitors.
